PrimaryTech Expands Its Offering as a Google Professional Development (PD) Partner

This is a natural next step for PrimaryTech, and one I am extremely pleased to see as we become one of three PD Partners situated in the North of the UK, and the only dedicated partner in East Yorkshire.

That local recognition matters. As the only dedicated Google PD Partner in East Yorkshire, we are well placed to support schools and trusts across the region and beyond with ongoing training and support that goes beyond a single site visit. It is a milestone we are proud of, and one we are ready to put to work for local schools now.

What is a Google PD Partner?

A Google PD Partner is an organisation formally approved by Google for Education to deliver professional development and certified training on Google tools, including Google Workspace for Education, Google Classroom and Chromebooks. That increasingly includes artificial intelligence. Google’s AI tools for schools, such as Gemini for Education, Gemini Notebook and Gemini in Classroom, are now built into Google Workspace for Education, and helping staff use them confidently, and most importantly, safely, is becoming a core part of what good training covers.

Google PD Partners undergo a range of checks to demonstrate expertise and quality before being recognised, so the status is best understood as a mark of quality. It tells a school that the training on offer aligns with Google's own standards and is delivered by people Google recognises as capable of delivering it well.

That recognition is not widely held across the UK and Ireland. PrimaryTech is proud to appear in Google for Education’s public Professional Development Partner Directory, as the only dedicated partner in East Yorkshire.
